More Symbols Of Prejudice Spreading Beyond SU Campus

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse University, and the surrounding neighborhood, not just dealing with racist graffiti anymore.

A Swastika drown in the snow was discovered near the intersection of East Genesee Street and Comstock Ave yesterday.

The vile symbol comes one day after two more instances of racist graffiti was discovered on the SU Campus. Racist graffiti against Asian people was found in residence hall in a residence hall, a week after anti-Asian and anti-African American messages were also found in the building. Officials say an anti-Asian message was also found in a bathroom stall in the physics building Wednesday.

Syracuse Police are investigating the incident involving the Swastika, while the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force is involved in the investigation into the anti-Asian and black messages uncovered at SU.
