Syracuse University Cuts Hong Kong Study Abroad Program Short

Syracuse, N.Y. - Due to safety concerns, Syracuse University is cutting its Hong Kong study abroad program short.

Officials say students aren't in imminent danger, but because of ongoing protests the program will end November 19th. The school is still registering students for the spring 2020 semester in Hong Kong.

Whether they're allowed to go depends on if officials determine it's safe for them to travel.
