SU's Offense Clicks Past Colgate

Syracuse, N.Y. - The SU offense may have found its groove.

The Orange were down 9-1 in the first half. But the offense got going after Freshman Joe Girard III came off the bench, helping to lift SU past Colgate 70 to 54. He did well running the point, while posting five points and four assists. He started the second half over Jalen Carey. Girard will start over Carey on Saturday.

Buddy Boeheim led the Orange with 17 points. Elijah Hughes was next in line with 14 points and eight assists. Bourama Sidibe was the only other player in double figures for Syracuse with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

The Orange host the Seattle Red Hawks at the Dome Saturday night.
