Open House To Discuss Onondaga Lake Parkway Safety

Liverpool, N.Y. - Folks will get a firsthand look at proposed safety improvements to the Onondaga Lake Parkway tonight.

The state DOT is holding an open house to discuss ideas such as cutting a portion of the road from four lanes to two or lowering the speed limit. A new detection system may also be installed to warn tractor trailer drivers about a low railroad overpass.

Tonight's forum goes from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Chestnut Middle School in Liverpool.
