Boeheim Expresses Frustration With ACC Following Season Opening Loss

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Orange struggled to make shots against last night, as they lost to ACC foe Virginia at the Dome 48 to 34.

Syracuse made less than 24-percent of their shots from the field and were even worse from three point land.

Elijah Hughes led the Orange with 14 points, followed by Buddy Boeheim with seven points.

In his post game news conference Head Coach Jim Boeheim expressed frustration several times with being forced to play the defending national champion to start the season. At one point he ripped into the decision to play league games to start the season a "money grab."

Up Next the Orange will look to get their first win of the season next week when the Colgate Raiders come to the Dome on Wednesday.
