Toown of Tyre, N.Y. - State police have released the names of the two people who were killed in a crash two weeks ago on the Thruway in Seneca County.
The three-car crash happened shortly after midnight on Sunday, October, 20, in the Town of Tyre. A preliminary investigation showed the crash involved a wrong way driver going westbound in the eastbound lanes.
The crash killed two passengers in one car -- Florie Singh of Guyana, and Monica Amelda, of Brampton, Ontario -- but originally from Guyana. Three other people were hospitalized.
