Election Day 2019 Has Arrived In CNY

Syracuse, N.Y. - Today is Election Day in Central New York, and there are many local elections up for grabs today.

There are two big races in Onondaga County. Democrat Chuck Keller and Conservative candidate Gary Lavine both looking to upend longtime Republican District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick. Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon looks to keep the position he was appointed to about a year ago. He is being challenged by retired business man Tony Malavenda.

In other Countywide races Syracuse City Auditor Marty Masterpole is the Democrat hoping to oust Republican Matt Beadnell, who was appointed to the Onondaga County comptroller job less than a year ago.

Republican Incumbent Lisa Dell is hoping to keep her seat from Democratic Party Challenger Mark Kolinski.

Throughout CNY's Towns and Villages there are also additional offices on the ballots.
