Onondaga County Reaches Deal With Deliquent Property Owners

Syracuse, N.Y. - The owners of two tax-delinquent commercial properties have decided to pay up.

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon has announced, that the owners of the Days Inn motel in DeWitt, and a shuttered power plant in Geddes, wned by DMI Acquisitions, have agreed to sign a deed that county officials could use to take over the properties if the owners default on the payment agreements.

The settlement is around 1.6 million dollars.
