Syracuse, N.Y. - Three people are under arrest in connection with a series of package thefts in Syracuse. T
he suspects are accused of stealing packages off of front porches in the Sedgwick and Eastwood neighborhoods.
Police are warning residents to be wary of porch pirates as we head into the holiday season. They suggest requesting a "sign off" when their package is delivered, installing a security system or asking their neighbors to help watch their property.
