Camillus, N.Y. - A woman and her dogs managed to escape a Camilus house fire last night.
The house fire was on Van Alstine Road. Fire officials say that the homeowner was sleeping when she was woken up by smoke alarms.
The fire was concentrated to one portion of the home, but it was smokey. The woman suffered smoke inhalation helping her dogs that were in the basement.
They, and a horse near-by, were unharmed.
Firefighters say the woman will be fine.
