Public Hearings Today And Tomorrow About Proposed Clay Warehouse

Clay, N.Y. - There are chances this morning and again tomorrow night to speak up about the proposed massive distribution center in Clay.

Its being said that the proposed 280 million dollar warehouse will create 1,000 jobs.

Town Supervisor Damien Ulatowski, says so far he's encouraged from the feedback he has received.

The tenant for the project is shrouded in mystery, but speculation is rampant that it is being built for Amazon. Ulatowski also says that the hush-hush nature surrounding the tenant for the warehouse is not uncommon.

The Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency, will hold a public hearing on tax breaks for the project at 10. The Clay Planning Board will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the developer’s site plan.

Both hearings will be held at Clay Town Hall on Route 31.
