Lyncourt, N.Y. - There were no injuries at a Lyncourt house fire Tuesday night that likely destroyed the home.
Multiple fire crews responded to the fire around 8pm in the 400 block of Kenwick Drive near Woodlawn Cemetery.
When those crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the house. It is believed that all residents of the home got out safely.
Fire Chief Brian Shields says that there was a lot of stuff inside the home and suggested that furnishings weren't fire-retardant, which led to the interior being gutted.
So far, the house appears a total loss.
