Pedestrian Hit On Onondaga Lake Parkway In Critical Condition

Syracuse, N.Y. - A hit-and-run crash on the Onondaga Lake Parkway over the weekend has left one person still in critical condition.

Sheriff's deputies say it happened Saturday night about 9pm when an eastbound vehicle hit a pedestrian near the Park Street/Route 81 on-ramp - and then just kept driving.

The victim had significant injuries and was taken to the hosptial where they remain in critical condition. Investigators are actively interviewing witnesses in the early stages of the investigation.

The parkway was closed until early Sunday morning.
