Syracuse, N.Y. - Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident on 481 North t Exit 2.
All lanes were closed around 1 and could remain closed for 2 hours.
The accident involves a horse trailer.
According to 911 operators the horses were loose on the roadway, and one was "bleeding profusely." A veterinarian responded to the scene, Cornell University Veterinary Hospital was contacted, and the SPCA is providing a trailer for the two horses to be transported from the accident scene.
No word yet on if the driver sustained any injuries.
