Tully, N.Y. - A construction worker is dead after being hit by a dump truck in Onondaga County.
Deputies say the victim was directing traffic during a project on Route 80 in Tully when they were struck by the truck, which was backing up. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, died at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
