Aliyah “Líyah” Hanlan , resident of Syracuse’s Tipperary Hill, is a beautiful, smart and driven 17 year old young woman in the midst of a tough battle since her recent diagnosis of Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, which has spread to several organs.
Aliyah’s Mom, Stacy (Chetwin) Brown, single mother of three, is committed to fighting alongside Aliyah. Doctors advised Stacy to stop working during intense ongoing treatments. Older brother Isaiah, age 18, who has “taken the reigns at home’’, and younger sister, Jatianah, age six, have begun their school year.
Aliyah is a Senior at Henninger High School with plans to pursue college in forensics or sociology. Please help Aliyah fulfill ALL her plans and dreams while supporting her family.
A benefit is planned to help defray medical and travel expenses and to support the family. All are invited to Fight Like Aliyah Benefit, Saturday, October 12th, 1-6pm at Moose Lodge 1121 Milton Avenue, Syracuse. $15 at the door.
