Schoharie, N.Y. - The trial date for the operator of the limo involved in last year's tragedy in Schoharie has been pushed back.
A Schoharie County Court Judge says Nauman Hussain will now go on trial March 9th. He was supposed to go on trial January 6th, but the delay is due to concerns the proceedings could be affected by a rule requiring prosecutors to turn all of their evidence over to the defense before a trial begins. That new law takes effect January 1st.
Hussain is facing manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide charges, but has maintained his innocence since being arrested.
