Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse officials are choosing a developer to revamp part of the East Adams Street corridor.
National affordable housing developer McCormack Baron Salazar will lead the $500 million revitalization project of the East Adams Street neighborhood in Syracuse. The Syracuse Housing Authority has been looking for the last year for a developer of the 27 block, 118 square acre area that has more than 1,000 units of public housing, including Pioneer Homes.
The hope is to better reconnect Downtown with the University Hill area.
