Syracuse, N.Y. - A Waterloo man was stopped at the Syracuse Airport after TSA officers spotted a loaded handgun in his carry on.
It happened Monday, TSA officers detected a .40 caliber handgun loaded with six bullets and called Syraucse Police SPD confiscated the gun and detained the man for questioning. He said he didn't not know his revolver was in his carry-on bag.
This is the second gun caught at the airport’s checkpoint in 2019.
