Syracuse, N.Y. - A 64-year-old Clay man is dead after being hit by a car Friday night on I 690.
Jeffrey Bigness was driving his motorcycle , when he stopped on the side of the highway. He then got off his motorcycle and walked into the road to retrieve an item, when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Bigness was taken to Upstate Hospital where he later died. So far, no tickets have been issued but the investigation into the accident continues.
