Dewitt, N.Y. - Last night around 8 Dewitt police responded to Clearview Road near the intersection of Orrick Rd, for reported shots fired.
When they arrived they found a Jeep had been hit with bullets and they found .40 caliber casings at the scene.
A 22 year old who was sitting in the Jeep told police he oberved a black or dark colored vehicle drive by him, turnaround and shoot at the witnesses e vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating.
