Syracuse Police Make An Arrest In Sunday Night's Stabbing

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police make a quick arrest in a stabbing that took place on James Street, late Sunday night.

Police arrested 23 year old Shakir John, of Syracuse today and charged him with second-degree assault,and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

He's accused of stabbing a 33 year old man in the back during an argument. The two apprently knew each other. The 33 year old's injury was not life threatening.
