Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo has announced an emergency ban on the sale of flavored e-cigarettes.
He says he put the ban in place to protect the people of New York, noting that children are especially attracted to flavored vape products like bubble gun and cotton candy.
The ban will take effect in about fourteen days. The governor says he doesn't want to wait for the federal government to put in its own ban.
Six people have died in relation to vaping according to the CDC.
