Good news for SU point guard Tiana Mangakahia as she continues her fight with breast cancer- her GoFundMe goal has been reached, thanks to the donation of a generous NBA player.
Jonah Bolden, a fellow Australian from the Philadelphia 76ers, capped off the $10,000 goal on Mangakahia's GoFundMe page with a $4156 contribution. The page was originally set up by Tiana's mother, Cynthia, to offset the cost of travelling from Australia to the States. Bolden said he doesn't know Tiana personally, but said that her story inspired him to donate. The GoFundMe now has over $11K in donations from around the world.
