Geddes, N.Y. - The New York State Fair has smashed another attendance record.
Officials say for a fourth year in a row more people visited the Fair than ever before, generating millions of dollars in economic activity. Fairgoers came from 28 states and six European countries to Central New York over the fair's 13-day run.
In setting the new attendance record of 1,329,275, the Fair shattered the all-time single day attendance record on Saturday, set five single-day records, and recorded the largest number of days above 100,000 in attendance ever, with seven.
