A new warehouse and distribution facility is set to be built in Clay next spring.
Speaking at a press conference this morning, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced that a $280 million facility will add 1000 jobs to the area.
The company has yet to be named, but McMahon said that it's going to have an estimated $30 million economic impact. The facility is set to be built at the Liverpool County Club on Morgan Road, according to the developer, Trammell Crow Co. Trammell Crow is set to announce the name of the facility in the spring of 2020, when construction is set to begin. McMahon mentioned, however, if deadlines aren't met, the project could face the risk of being passed over to another company.
