Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs provided some help to the State Troopers
Around 10 last night, Air 1 took to the skies to help State Police stop a person who refused to pull over. The vehicle, a stolen U-Haul truck, had traveled East on Interstate 690 near the Fairgrounds into the city, and then proceeded to head South, on 81.
Air1 was able to keep it in sight using the helicopters "nightsun" light, providing updates to police on the ground. “Stop Sticks”, were finally used diabling the truck and the suspect was taken into custody.
