Syracuse, N.Y. - Folks who travel in East Syracuse may want to plan for a bit more time to reach their destinations.
Starting today, a bridge replacement project over Butternut Creek will lead to a detour in the area. Fremont Road will be closed from Myers Road south under the Thruway to Kirkville Road.
Detour signs are already posted. Access to the East Syracuse Minoa High School will be maintained.
