New York - New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is calling for legislation that will severely punish those who commit mass shootings in New York State.
Cuomo said Americans who commit mass hate crimes against other Americans should be recognized as domestic terrorists. Cuomo said the penalty should be the same as for other terrorism crimes including up-to-life without parole. He added the nation needs to pass the gun safe act and ban assault weapons, along with having universal background checks.
