Syracuse, N.Y. - A bookkeeper for a Dewitt company has been charged with stealing over $61,000 dollars from her employer.
72 year old Judith Sietz of Skaneateles Falls has been charged with falsifying records and 85 counts of forgery. She is accused of writing herself 85 separate checks and then attempting to hide the thefts by writing the names of legitimate vendors into the check ledger.
She told police she spent the majority of the $61,000 dollars at the del Lago casino.
