Gas Prices Still Sliding In Central New York

Central New York drivers are still seeing savings at the gas pump.

According to Triple A, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas is two-73. That's down three cents in the last week and four cents in the last month. The state average is two-84 a gallon while nationally it's two-65.

Oil prices are slipping too as investor worries about weakening demand and the U.S.-China trade war show no signs of easing.

West Texas Intermediate crude is down 21 cents a barrel, to $54.29. International benchmark Brent crude is down 18 cents, to $58.35. Prices are following the same trend as last week, when Brent lost more than five-percent and WTI fell about two-percent.
