Syracuse, N.Y. - A couple from Central Square who scammed people out of money by using the picture of a little girl with cancer have been sentenced
Roger and Nicole Dunn, of Central Square, pleaded guilty to a scheme to defraud and each were sentenced to 5 years probation and several weekends in jail. The couple used a picture of 6 year old Kaylee Marshfield of Geddes. They went door-to-door falsing saying they were associated with Kaylee's family and collected money.
Earl Woodridge, of Parish, was also charged in the scam, and was sentenced to six months in jail in May.
