Lyons, N.Y. - A former police chief, Timothy Dean, was sentenced to life without parole today.
A jury found Dean guilty in May of one count of first degree murder and two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Joshua Niles and his fiance Amber Washburn.
Dean's wife Charlene Childers already pleaded guilty to manslaughter for convincing Dean to kill her ex-boyfriend over a custody battle with Niles that she lost.
Judge Daniel Barrett called Dean " a classic psychopath" and said he wonders what goes on his head.
Dean did not speak before he was sentenced
