Friday is the day that the convicted killer of a young Sodus couple will learn his fate.
Former Arizona police officer Timothy Dean's sentencing is set for Friday morning in Wayne County. A jury found Dean guilty in May of one count of first degree murder and two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Joshua Niles and his fiance Amber Washburn. Dean's wife Charlene Childers already pleaded guilty to manslaughter for convincing Dean to kill her ex-boyfriend over a custody battle with Niles that she lost. The maximum sentence Dean could face for first degree murder is life in prison without parole.
