Camillus, N.Y. - The West Genesee High School has appointed a new executive principal.
Wayne Ackles was appointed by the Board of Education and will begin on August 26th. Ackles was previous the Secondary Principal at Honeoye Central School District and the Assistant Principal at Fairport High School.
He is replacing former Executive Principal Shannon Coholan who was fired for having an affair with the former Superintendent. Dr. Chris Brown resigned in disgrace following his wife sharing the news on social media. He has since been hired by a district in the Finger Lakes.
