Woodstock 50 Loses John Fogerty As An Act

Baltimore, Maryland - Well now that Woodsock 50 wont be happening in New York...some are backing out.

John Fogerty is the first musician to publicly back out of Woodstock 50, now that the festival is going to be held in Maryland instead of New York.

Fogerty was at the original Woodstock back in 1969 as the frontman for Creedence Clearwater Revival.

A Fogerty spokesman yesterday said that the artist will spend that weekend at the site of the original, at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts where a modest gathering is planned.

Woodstock 50 now called Woodstock 50 WASHINGTON may be held at amphitheater near Baltimore. That venue could hold 32,000 people, less than half of what Woodstock 50 had hoped to draw to either Vernon Downs or Watkins Glen.

And now you can add Jay-Z to the list of those who will not show up....
