Town of West Monroe, N.Y. - The Oswego County Health Department has announced two more samples of mosquitoes, collected at Toad Harbor Swamp, have tested positive for the Triple E.
The health dept says they are contiuning to monitor mosquito activity in and around the area, and are preparing for aerial spraying. Once plans are finalized they will make them known to the public.
In the meantime, people are advised to continue using insect repellents, wear protective clothing and limit outdoor activities between dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
