Madison County, N.Y. - A Binghamton man is facing charges following an incident that started with a police chase and ended with a slashing.
State Police say they tried to pull over Tyron Hooks-Harris' vehicle on the Thruway in Madison County Saturday after getting a call saying he was possibly suicidal. Hooks-Harris then led Troopers on a chase that ended when he spun out an SUV. He then allegedly went to the passenger side of that vehicle and started slashing a passenger before being arrested.
Hooks-Harris is facing several charges including attempted murder. He is being held without bail.
