Police Increasing Patrols For Syracuse Nationals Weekend

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police, State police and Onondaga County deputies will be keeping an eye out for dangerous drivers.

They'll be looking for folks who are speeding while behind the wheel, with a special focus on the area of Erie Boulevard East near the intersection of South Midler Avenue. Thousands of folks are expected to be traveling in that area due to the Syracuse Nationals taking place at the State Fairgrounds.

The event begins today and goes through Sunday.
