Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following Utica Shooting

Utica, N.Y. - Utica police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left a man seriously injured.

Officials say 26-year-old Malik Clea of South Carolina shot 36-year-old Will Jefferson on Lenox Avenue over the weekend. Jefferson was flown to a Syracuse hospital to be treated for injuries to his face and groin. Clea is now facing an attempted murder charge.
