Syracuse Police Officers Stop A Man From Jumping To His Death

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police officers save a man yesterday who was thretening to jumo off a bridge.

Around 10am two Syracuse police officers, responded to a man on sitting on the I-690 Bridge near Beech St.

They believed the man intended to jump. After speaking with the man for a quite awhile trying to conivnce him not to jump, they felt they needed to do more than talk. Sgt Cramer risking his own safety grabbed onto the male and pulled him off the ledge.

Sgt Flynn and Officer Ladd aided in the resuce.

No injuries were reported.

The man was transported to a hospital for treatment.
