Gov. Cuomo Hints State Assembly Could Be Roadblock To Surrogacy Change

Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo is hinting that the state Assembly could be a roadblock towards changing the state's surrogacy law.

The governor has pushed for the state's law banning surrogacy agreements between women and couples to be overturned. He says with just days left in this year's legislative session, now is the time to prove that New York is the progressive capital of the world.

The state Senate has already approved the legislation.
