Oneida County , N.Y. - Oneida Sheriff's have arrested a 16 year old for falsely reporting an incident.
The incident was called in to the Child Protective Services (CPS) hot line stating severe allegations regarding a young child and an adult.
Investigators learned that the allegations were not true and that the false report had been made by a 16 year old. The 16 year old was issued an appearance ticket.
The young child and parent were cleared of any wrong doing and are both safe.
