Syracuse, N.Y. - Two residents were taken to the hospital following a house fire this morning.
The fire broke out before three o'clock on Buckingham Ave in Syracuse's Eastside.
Fire radio communications indicated that there were multiple victims trapped inside and that at least one firefighter was in distress on the second floor. Fire officials say that two people were taken to the hospital from the scene and were unresponsive.
The firefighter was also helped out of the house. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
