Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police are looking into a viral video that is causing some controversy.
The video posted on Saturday showed police pulling a man out of the driver's seat of a car and bringing him to the ground. Moments later, an officer turned his focus to the man recording the incident and the video ends when he goes to grab that person's phone.
The department says it's looking into the use of force, which is standard procedure.
Police officers say that the arrest was made Friday on Grace and Oswego Street but will not identify the driver or what he is charged with.
Other officials say they are aware of the video and will be reviewing the situation in a meeting on Monday.
