Town of Spafford, N.Y. - A Fayetteville man has died while rowing on Skaneateles Lake.
State Police say 67 year old Peter Becker went out for a trip on the Lake in the Town of Spafford yesterday. He was reported missing by loved ones around 8-30 when he didn't come home.
A search by State Police water rescue teams, along with area firefighters, and Onondaga County's Air One Helicopter found Becker, dead, still in his rowing shell , just south of Lourdes Camp around 10:30
Troopers say there is no evidence of foul play and Becker never had entered the water.
