Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Fire Investigators are working to figure out what caused a chain reaction fire on the Far Westside.
Investigators say that before 4 o'clock a fire sparked at a home on Essex Street and spread to the one next door.
Fire Crews had an easy time getting the second house fire under control. After crews had doused the fire at the first home, the fire reignited before crews got it back under control.
Crews remain on the scene.
