Timothy Dean Found Guilty Of Double Homicide In Sodus

Sodus, N.Y. - The man accused of shooting and killing two people in Sodus has been found guilty.

After deliberating for just over four hours, a jury has found a former Texas police chief Tiimothy Dean , guilty on all 18 counts in a double murder of Joshua Niles and Niles girlfriend Amber Washburn.

Prosecutors said Dean gunned down Niles and Washburn in the driveway of their Sodus home back in October. Dean shot Niles 10 times and Washburn once in the head, killing them both.

Dean's wife, Charlene Childers testified against him saying the two meticulously planed the murder of Joshua Niles after they lost a child custody battle to him.
