The deadline has come and gone and ShoppingTown Mall hasn't paid it's back taxes.
A State Supreme Court Judge ruled this month that ShoppingTown had to pay the nearly 10 million dollars that it owes in taxes. The Mall hasn't paid their tax bill since 2015 claiming their assessment is too high.
Tuesday Morning, there was word that the Mall's lawyers had given notice they planned to appeal the judges ruling. The mall says they shouldn't need to pay their taxes until they've exhausted their legal options.
Since they missed yesterday's deadline Onondaga County can foreclose on the property should officials choose to do so.
