Oswego, N.Y. - The Dioceses of Syracuse is announcing a new site for a consolidated parish in Oswego.
The consolidation involves all five Catholic parishes in the Oswego area -- St. Paul, St. Stephen, St. Joseph, St. Mary and St. Peter. hey will now become Christ the Good Shepard Parish and will operate out of St. Paul's Church.
The unification won't begin until July. Until then nothing changes.
Officials with the Diocese say they are still sorting out new uses for the old buildings.
